The Water Analysis module allows you to analyze water measurement data, save your frequently used analyses, and share important findings with your team.

Access the Water Analysis page from the Water module in the main navigation. You'll see two tabs:
- Time Frame: Analyze measurements for a specific date range
- Saved Analysis: Access your saved analyses and those shared by colleagues
- Click on the Time Frame tab
- Choose your start date
- Choose your end date
- Click Apply
Choose how you want to view the data:
List View
- See all measurements in a table format
- Click on any measurement name to see detailed analysis
Pivot Table View
- View data organized by interface and date
- Compare multiple measurements side by side
Click on any measurement to see:
- Charts showing trends over time
- Detailed data tables
- Individual parameter values
Save your commonly used analyses for quick access later:
- Open a measurement with your desired date range
- Click the Save button (bookmark icon) in the header
- Enter a name for your analysis (e.g., "Q4 2023 Compliance Check")
- Add optional notes (e.g., "Monthly monitoring for permit compliance")
- Click Save
Your analysis is now saved and can be accessed anytime from the Saved Analysis tab.

- You'll see cards showing:
- Analysis name
- Measurement name
- Date range
- Your notes
- Creation date
- Green "Shared" badge (if shared)
- Creator name (for analyses shared by others)
Click on any card or the View Analysis button to instantly load that analysis with all its settings.
You can only edit analyses you created:
- Click the Edit button (pencil icon) on your analysis card
- Update the name or notes
- Click Update
You can only delete analyses you created:
- Click the Delete button (trash icon) on your analysis card
- Confirm the deletion
- The analysis will be permanently removed
Share analyses to:
- Collaborate with colleagues on important measurements
- Highlight significant findings
- Standardize monitoring periods across your team
- Find the analysis you want to share (must be one you created)
- Click the Share button (share icon)
- Grey outline icon = Not shared
- Green filled icon = Shared
- The analysis is now visible to all team members at your site
Look for these indicators:
- Green "Shared" badge next to the analysis name
- Creator's name shown below the measurement name (for analyses shared by others)
- Green share icon on your own shared analyses

Note: You'll always see your own analyses (shared or not), plus any analyses that others have shared with you.
- Open the measurement you want to export
- Click the Export button
- Select Download as CSV
- The file will include all measurement values, dates, and parameters
Solution:
- Make sure you're in the correct site
- Check the Saved Analysis tab
- Try refreshing the page
Solution:
- Check that the measurement still exists
- Verify the date range is valid
- Refresh the page and try again
Explanation: These buttons only appear on analyses you created. For analyses shared by others, you can view them but not modify them.
Checklist:
- Ensure you're in the same site as your colleague
- Ask them to verify the analysis is actually shared (green badge should be visible to them)
- Refresh your browser
- Contact your system administrator if the issue persists
Use clear, descriptive names:
- ✓ "LEACHATE - Q4 2023 Compliance Check"
- ✓ "Groundwater Monitoring - Winter 2024"
- ✗ "Analysis 1" or "Test"
Add helpful context:
- Purpose of the analysis
- Important findings
- What to look for
- Next steps
Example:
Monthly compliance monitoring for environmental permit.
pH levels slightly elevated - follow-up sampling scheduled.
Next review: 2024-02-01
Share when:
- Results need team review
- Part of regular reporting
- Important findings need attention
- Setting up standard monitoring periods
Keep private when:
- Still working on the analysis
- Personal quick-access bookmarks
- Testing or exploring data
